NF18AC

1. In order to set up your wireless network, you need to have a working Internet connection, you need to plug an Ethernet cable directly from the modem to your computer.
2. Once connected, open a web browser and type https://192.168.1.1 into the URL bar to access the modem's interface.
3. When prompted, login to the router - Please use "admin" for username and password or the last 6 characters of the MAC address for password. It will be in lower case.
4. From the left-hand menu select Wireless, select 2.4GHz and then Basic.
5. Ensure “Enable Wireless” option is ticked.
6. Under SSID enter a name that you'd like for your modem's wireless network.
7. Click Apply/Save at the bottom of the page.
8. Then go to “Security” option under Wireless.
9. Ensure that Enable WPS option is disabled.
10. Select your correct Wireless Network in Select SSID option.
11. Select Network Authentication as “Mixed WPA2/WPA – PSK” from the drop-down menu.
12. Choose WPA/WAPI passphrase – This is also your Wi-Fi password. To ensure a secure password please type password of minimum 8 characters long.
13. Select WPA/WAPI encryption as TKIP+AES
14. Click Apply/Save at the bottom of the page.
15. Repeat steps 4-14 for the 5GHz option. Ensure that you set the same SSID and passphrase for the 5GHz option.

Congratulations! You should now be able to connect to your wireless network. Open your device's wireless settings, look for the network name (SSID) you entered earlier, and when prompted enter your newly created password.

GENIUS BLACK MODEM

1. In order to set up your wireless network, you need to be either connected to the wireless network, or be connected to the modem via Ethernet cable.
2. In a web browser, enter – https://10.1.1.1 into the URL bar to access modem’s interface. You can use any web browser e.g. Google Chrome, Internet explorer, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox or Safari.
3. When prompted, login to the router – use default password as “admin”.
4. Click on the Set up my wireless tab across the top
5. Ensure that Enable or Disable Wireless function is “Enabled”
6. Under Wireless Network make sure Enable primary SSID is ticked.
7. On the right-hand side, enter the desired name for the wireless network. It can be anything
8. Then go to Security options and select your correct Wireless Network in SSID option
9. Below the drop-down menu, select “WPA2/WPA – PSK” as your secure network.
10. Click Save Settings, and then log out of your modem.

Congratulations! You should now be able to connect to your wireless network. Open your device's wireless settings, look for the network name (SSID) you entered earlier, and when prompted enter your newly created password.

ORCON GENIUS WHITE [NF4V Netcomm]

FRITZBOX 7490

1. In order to set up your wireless network, you need to be either connected to the wireless network, or be connected to the modem via Ethernet cable.
2. In a web browser go enter https://192.168.178.1 into the URL bar to access the modem's interface.
3. It will now prompt you to enter a password. Please set up a desired password. You can choose a secure password from a combination of lower & upper-case alphabets with numbers & special characters.
4. From the left-hand menu select Wireless, and then Radio Network
5. Scroll Down and you'll notice two frequency band, 2.4 GHz and 5GHz.
6. Under SSID of each band enter the new name that you'd like for your modem's wireless network.
7. please click "Apply" button located at the bottom of the page.
8. TIP - You can add 2.4 or 5 at the end of respective network's SSID so that you know which frequency you are connecting to.
9. Then go to “Security” option under Wireless.
10. Select WPA Mode as WPA2 (CCMP)
11. Choose a Network Key – This is your Wi-Fi password. To ensure a secure password please type password of minimum 8 characters long.
12. Click Apply/Save at the bottom of the page.

Congratulations! You should now be able to connect to your wireless network. Open your device's wireless settings, look for the network name (SSID) you entered earlier, and when prompted enter your newly created password.
