Changing your services in My OrconIf you just want to change how much data you have, or add / remove a calling pack or other add-ons, your contract won't change.
If you're changing technology, for example upgrading to our VDSL or UFB plans, then a contract will apply to your new services as we incur new installation costs. If you are downgrading technology, this may incur an early termination fee if you're still in contract.

Adding on wiring insurance in My OrconWhen you log into My Orcon, click on Change hub in the top right hand corner to find our wiring insurance add on. For a small fee of $3 per month on a 12-month contract, we'll cover the cost of on-site repairs related to faulty wiring in your home – easy!
Covered
You won't be charged if a technician needs to repair faulty internal wiring, wall sockets, or splitters that are causing issues like interference on your homeline, frequent disconnections on your wired broadband service, or a complete lack of internet or a dial tone.
Not covered
The wiring insurance doesn't cover costs for issues caused by faulty cords (like ethernet cables), wiring or sockets not installed by a qualified technician, external cabling between separate buildings on your property, or building alterations and refurbishments.
Please note
Without wiring insurance, you'll need to organise for an electrician to carry out any necessary repairs in your home. Alternatively, we can organise for a technician to complete the work for a charge of up to $230.
For damages caused by natural disasters, vandalism, animals, or insects, reach out to your insurer so you don't have to pay for repairs yourself.
